“Cyclists from left Peter Handiside, Mike Pearce, Steve Roberts and Neil Shipman before taking part in the 160km Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge on Saturday 29th Nov. The group used the event to raise funds for a non-profit organisation called Freedom Life, based at the Te Nikau training centre, in Paraparaumu, which helps people to overcome life controlling problems. A total of $1400 was raised courtesy of Meadows Church, Web Genius, Mobile Hands, United Travel, Peter Jackson Plumbing, Absolute Gifts and Chem Dry.”
