Citipointe Live were here!!

The Meadows was pumping with the sounds of praise on Saturday 4th April when Citipointe Live, a worship band from Brisbane came to visit!

Worship teams from The Meadows Paraparaumu, Otaki, The Oasis (Hutt City New Life), Life Church (New Life Palmerston North) and Palmerston North Victory Christian Centre joined together to hear some great teaching and practical workshops. It was also nice hanging out and getting better acquainted!

The morning began with a time of worship and the word then moved into smaller workshops consisting of songwriting, drums, keys, bass, guitar, vocals and sound tech. We had the most fantastic day and thank Citipointe so much for taking the time to come! We really felt inspired and stirred up to go to greater heights!

You can check out Citipointe Live at www.citipointelive.com . Also have a listen to their latest album ‘Devoted’!

The Cause 09

The Cause 09 is the name of our international New Life Conference, hosted this year by Meadows Church! This was a great time of gathering New Life Pastors and Leaders to hear great teaching from Ps. Martin Steel, Ps. Mike Connell, and Ps. Steve Hall.

RBT @ Christmas in the Park

Really Brave Thing played at Palmerston North's Christmas in the Park Dec 08.
There were Kids Activities, Carols by candlelight and of course the major concert.

In Other RBT News: Wake Up is getting 21 spins per week on Rhema. Which is fantastic!!

We recently received an email from the father of a member of our congregation.

He was in hospital alone and scared preparing for a heart operation.

The day before his operation the phone by the bed rang. He picked it up to hear a female voice say, Hi dad, don’t laugh but I am a Christian and proceeded to tell him how and why.

“I of course didnt laugh..I cried..absolute tears of joy..had not heard from her for a very long time..

I had been praying for my daughter..whose life was a bit topsy turvey..and like many Christians

sometimes wondered if my prayers were heard ..as many seemed to go unanswered..

She is so enthusiastic about your Church and I am just so happy she found Christ..thank you for what ever part your played in her becoming a Christian."
